Our Approach

The Irish Soccer Club provides technical skills development through a disciplined training approach for youth players in the Greater Alton-Godfrey, IL region. Our training includes footwork and ball skills, speed and agility, balance and coordination, proper defensive technique, technical knowledge regarding field positioning, buildup strategy, goalie training and more.

Competitive Games & Tournaments

Our teams compete in the St. Louis Youth Soccer Association (SLYSA), local, regional, and national tournaments and college Showcases. SLYSA is one of the largest youth soccer leagues in the United States. Teams travel from as far away as Quincy, IL and Cape Girardeau, MO because of the league's ability to create competitive games for all skill levels.

Teams also compete in tournaments locally, with some teams traveling throughout the Midwest. Our highest level teams have earned wins vs ECNL-RL, NPL, E64, DPL, and similar platforms.
